We are seeking an experienced
Scientist – Molecular Biology / Proteins production and purification
Location: Lublin, Poland
An innovative biotech company that specializes in cancer diagnostics is looking to expand their team. The ideal candidate should hold an MSc/PhD degree and have several years of laboratory experience in a GLP environment. They should be passionate about learning and conducting molecular biology and recombinant protein research to develop creative solutions that can benefit patients.
Key Tasks:
· Isolation and purification of recombinant proteins
· Development and validation of in vitro assays aimed at verifying target binding
· Working in the lab executing a variety of assays
· Utilizing biochemical and molecular biology techniques
· Analyzing experimental results
· Preparing reports and presenting data at the scientific team meetings
Requirements:
· Knowledge and minimum 3 years of professional experience in the areas of biotechnology, biochemistry and molecular biology is necessary
· MScs/PhDs in Molecular Biology, Biotechnology or Biochemistry with several years of laboratory work experience, especially in a GLP environment, is much welcomed
· Highly energetic with hands-on experience in the development and validation of in vitro assays aimed at verifying target binding
· Experience in chromatographic protein purification and fundamental analysis of proteins (SDS-PAGE, Western Blot, ELISA), PCR, enzyme assays, and caring on bacterial and eukaryotic cell culture is most important
· Willingness to learn and adopt new experimental techniques
· Strong analytical thinking
· Good knowledge of written and spoken English
